Overview
The roles and responsibilities that can be expected of employees at the various classification levels in the Teaching Service are set out in the Guidelines and incorporate Schedule 2 and 3 of the Victorian Government Schools Agreement 2017.
In determining the role and responsibilities of a position it is important to identify the key duties and accountabilities that relate to a position to enable the correct classification to be determined within the relevant employment structure. The development of a position description that properly reflects the role and responsibilities of a position is critical to this process.
