Annual Implementation Plan (AIP)

2. Annual Implementation Plan timelines

By the end of Term 4, schools must:

  • complete the end-of-year assessment of the AIP
  • develop the next AIP
  • submit the next AIP in SPOTExternal Link for feedback and endorsement by the SEIL.

In Term 1, it is recommended that schools:

  • action feedback from the SEIL, if appropriate (SEILs provide feedback on AIP by the start of Term 1)
  • (best practice) share the AIP with the school council for discussion
  • commence implementation of the AIP
  • (optional) complete AIP Term 1 monitoring by the end of Term 1.

In Term 2, schools must:

  • continue to implement the AIP
  • complete AIP mid-year monitoring (compulsory) between Week 8, Term 2 and Week 2, Term 3.

In Term 3, it is recommended that schools:

  • continue to implement the AIP
  • complete AIP Term 3 monitoring (optional) by the end of Term 3.
