Royal Children’s Hospital: Anaphylaxis Support Advisory – for all school anaphylaxis management enquires, (including the implementation of Ministerial Order 706). Resources to help schools create their own anaphylaxis management policy
An anaphylaxis policy that meets these requirements is available for school use on the School Policy Templates (staff login required).
Guidance for a developing a school anaphylaxis management policy – developed by the Department to assist schools to create their own Anaphylaxis management policy
Creating an individual anaphylaxis management plan for students & other relevant forms
Template: Individual Anaphylaxis Management Plan – must be completed by the school for each student who has been diagnosed at risk of allergies.
Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA) action – must be completed by parents/carers for a student with anaphylaxis in consultation with their child’s medical/health practitioner and provided to the school.
