Overview

The following Federal awards apply to teaching service, public service or school council employees:

• Victorian Government Schools Award 2016
• Victorian Government Schools — Early Childhood — Award 2016
• Victorian Public Service Award 2016

A Federal award prevails to the extent of any inconsistency in state legislation, regulations or ministerial orders.

Under section 57 of the Fair Work Act 2009 a modern award does not apply where an enterprise agreement applies in relation to a person’s employment.
