Types of child abuse include:

  • child sexual abuse
  • grooming
  • physical child abuse
  • child sexual exploitation
  • emotional or psychological child abuse
  • neglect
  • family violence
  • forced marriage
  • change or suppression (conversion) practices
  • exposure to violent extremism
  • historical child abuse.
