Working with Children Check
All supervisors of work experience students aged under 15 years must hold a valid Working with Children Check. If the employer is also the nominated supervisor, then the employer is also required to hold a valid Working with Children Check.
Prior to the principal or nominated person approving a work experience arrangement, the employer must provide a certified copy of the nominated supervisor(s) valid Working with Children Check, and the school must verify that the check is valid using the Service Victoria Working with Children Check status , and retain it for a period of 30 years.
