Working with Children Check
All supervisors of work experience students aged under 15 years must hold a valid Working with Children Check. If the employer is also the nominated supervisor, then the employer is also required to hold a valid Working with Children Check.
Prior to the principal or nominated person approving a work experience arrangement, the employer must provide a certified copy of the nominated supervisor(s) valid Working with Children Check, and the school must verify that the check is valid using the Service Victoria Working with Children Check status checker(opens in a new window), and retain it for a period of 30 years.
