2 Assess the risks
The principal and/or their delegate, in consultation with the Health and Safety Representatives (HSR) and employees must ensure that once hazards associated with outdoor activities have been identified they are:
- recorded in the ‘Hazard Description’ column of the OHS Risk
- risk-assessed using the Risk Assessment or equivalent template using the risk management methodology as outlined in the Risk Management Procedure
Chapter 2 of the Outdoor Activities and Working Outdoors Procedure on assessing risks associated with outdoor activities in schools
